Practicalities
A few important notes before your visit to North SulawesiHere is some additional information that might help you organize your visit to North Sulawesi and the Minahasa Highland.
- The seasons can be unpredictable but generally there is more rain from November to March and less from April to October. Afternoon showers are quite common in the highland area, even during the dry season.
- Bring a light sweater as it can get a bit chilly during rainy periods and in the evenings.
- We are happy to assist you with your domestic airline tickets through our travel agency Limbers Tours.
- Highland Resort is equipped to handle group bookings and can arrange all necessary services such as transfers, tours and meals. Please keep in mind that the resort accommodates a maximum of 18 guests if all rooms are utilized as double rooms.
- Transfers to and from the airport are available at any time day or night. If you have a very early morning flight just let us know in advance, preferably two days before your desired transfer, or at the time of your booking. Please be aware that there is an extra fee for pick-ups and transfers between 6 PM and 7 AM, so refer to our rates page for more information.
